baffled

You who have breathed life to my soul
You who have blessed my spirit with wonder
You who have gifted me with creative fervor
You who have clothed my being with love

You who have heard my anguished cries
You who have received all of my hate
You who have seen my hopelessness
You who gave silence to my gravest prayers

Have not led me to a clear path
Have not shared my life’s purpose
Have sunk me to rock bottom
Have left me swinging at the edge of a cliff

aimlessly wandering a rocky journey
hopeless for a happy future
puzzled on a senseless existence
all questions remain unanswered
